Max Retires After 40

Pinellas Park Letter Carrier Max Baez (left) recently retired after over 40 years of service.  Max is shown on his last day with Postmaster Delores Seuwin (right).  Max served in the United States Air Force for six years before joining the Postal Service as a Letter Carrier in Shreveport, LA.  He was a driver instructor and supervisor in training in Shreveport before transferring to Florida.  He has been a Letter Carrier in Pinellas Park for the last 20 years.

Max (second left) was joined by his wife Denise Baez (left), his mother in law Jean McCullough (second right) and his son Roman Baez (right) to celebrate his last day.  Max’s retirement plans are to catch up on sleep and then to spend time with his children and grandchildren.

Max’s co-workers (above) gathered to celebrate his retirement and offered many well wishes.  “We are all going to miss Max and I will miss seeing him at his case each day,” said Postmaster Seuwin.  “We wish him a happy and healthy retirement.”

Everyone enjoyed a delicious cake (above) as they bid farewell to Max.

Happy Retirement, Max!
