Community Center Commends Marty

Deland Postmaster Janice Walters (right) presented Letter Carrier Marty Collier (left) with a Certificate of Appreciation after receiving a letter from the Hawthorne Hills Retirement Community on his route.  The letter applauded Marty for his “exceptionally conscientious and efficient” service and contained 35 signatures from residents in the community.  

“We are very proud to have Marty representing the Deland Post Office,” said Postmaster Walters.
