Terrell Is A Hero



Tampa Town N Country Letter Carrier Terrell Brown (third, right) was presented with a Hero Commendation Letter from Postmaster General Megan Brennan by District Manager (DM) Eric Chavez (left). Brown was recognized for his heroic actions while delivering mail and assisting Customer Hao Ho (not pictured) who fell from a ladder and was seriously injured.  Ho recovered and was in attendance to thank Brown.

 “Your efforts remind us all of the ties that bind communities and our country together,” read DM Chavez.  Joining in the congratulatory event were Brown’s mother, Sarah (right), son Adonis (second, left) and daughter Audrielle (third left).  Letter Carrier Pat Erbe (second, left) joined in the applause.



Tampa Town N Country Letter Carrier Terrell Brown (center) received a Letter of Appreciation from Tampa Officer In Charge Richard Fermo (fourth, left).  Fermo spoke with Brown’s daughter Audrielle (fourth, right), son Adonis (third, right), mother Sarah (second, right) and son Terrell, Jr. (right) about Brown’s heroic actions.  On hand to thank Brown were Customers Hao Ho (second, left), Steve O’Neal (left) and Mai Bui (third, left).  Letter Carrier Pat Erbe (fifth, left) looked on.


Tampa Town N Country Letter Carrier Terrell Brown (right) was recognized by National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) Tampa Branch 599 President Tony Diaz (left) with a plaque embossed with an excerpt from the national publication The Postal Record highlighting Brown’s heroic actions.


Town N Country Letter Carrier Terrell Brown (second, right) was reunited with Customer Hao Ho (center) during an event honoring Brown’s heroic actions for assisting Ho after he fell from a ladder and was seriously injured. Terrell was surrounded by his mother Sarah (right), daughter Audrielle (bottom, right), son Adonis (bottom, left) and son Terrell, Jr. (third right). WFLA-TV and Bay News 9 aired coverage.

The celebratory event was complete with refreshments, including a cake (above) in the form of a Long Life Vehicle (LLV).  Brown’s co-workers enthusiastically congratulated him for his actions.
