Ticke 40 Years and Going Strong



Orlando Express Mail Service Clerk Robert Ticke (center), holding grandson Laycen, was presented with his 40-year Service Award and pin by Orlando Plant Manager Don Shandor (left) and District Manager (DM) Eric Chavez (right). Tour 2 employees attended the recognition and heard DM Chavez speak of Ticke’s military and postal careers.
 

Ticke’s family (left to right) Daughters Lin and Karen, Son Mark, Grandsons Laycen and Lucas and his wife Lijin joined in the celebration. After the photos, family and co-workers enjoyed cake.


Ticke (second, left) posed with Orlando Plant Manager Don Shandor (right), American Postal Service Workers Union (APWU) Local 1462 President Joe Paul (left) and APWU Vice-President Robert “Bob” McSorley (second, right).  Paul stated, “The APWU is very proud of Bob, not only for his 40 years of dedicated service, but as a loyal APWU member.”
