Tampa Processing and Distribution Center (P&DC) Mail Processing Clerk Dale Etter (center) was presented with his 40-year Service Award and pin by District Manager Eric Chavez (left) and Senior Plant Manager Ivonne Gonzalez (right).
Originally from Michigan, Dale has been in the Tampa Bay area since 1967. After spending three years in the Army, he left in 1979 to attend college. He took the postal exam and within two months was called to work as a temporary employee for the holiday season. Soon after, he was hired at the Tampa Plant as a Letter Sorting Machine Operator.
Dale is married to Denise Etter, who is also postal employee. They have a grown son and daughter. Dale plans to continue to work at the Tampa Plant for a few more years.
