John Celebrates 40 Years

Cocoa Letter Carrier John Warnick (right) received congratulations and a sincere “thank you” from District Manager Eric Chavez (left) during the presentation of his 40-year Service Award and pin.  Warnick began his postal career in Cocoa, FL, in 1984 after serving nine years in the U. S. Army, and has been a letter carrier for nearly 32 years.

Cocoa Officer In Charge Jose Melendez (right), reads the recognition letter during the celebratory event with Warnick’s co-workers, as A/Manager, Post Office Operations (MPOO) C Janice Walters (center) and Warnick (left) look on.

Warnick (left) showed his congratulatory letter to his proud daughter (right), who was on-hand for the festivities.

Warnick cuts the special cake that was enjoyed by the Cocoa Team.  He said there is never a dull moment at the Post Office and he is not ready to say goodbye.

Thank you for you dedicated service, John!
