Orlando began their LMP journey just over two years ago and remained
committed to bringing a cleaner, safer, well-organized process to their
workroom floor. The team members have
worked to implement 11 national LMP initiatives –such 5S, standardized signage,
and FIFO staging.
It
has taken the dedication and hard work of craft employees, supervisors,
maintenance, In-Plant Support, and management to be the first Southern Area
Plant recognized as LMP sustained.
“The implementation of LMP into the workroom culture has empowered all
employees to have improved mail flow ownership and line of sight recognition in
all operational areas,” said Plant Manager Don
Shandor.
Congratulations to all!
