Lean In Seminole

Seminole Processing & Distribution Center (P&DC) Manager, In-Plant Support Doel Garcia (second, right) was recognized for graduating and completing the Lean Leader Program.  Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President Kristin Seaver (right); A/Southern Area Controller Tammy Rose (left); and A/Manager, Continuous Improvement Jewelyn Harrington (second, left) congratulated Garcia on his outstanding accomplishment.

The Lean Leader Program is available to employees who have achieved Black Belt Certification through the Lean Six Sigma Continuous Improvement Process.  The 10-month program includes four weeks of classroom training, along with group projects, visits to retail and processing facilities, and more. Throughout the program, participants learn advanced Continuous Improvement concepts and techniques that can be applied throughout the Postal Service.

Way to go, Doel!
