Customers eagerly lined up for the passport fair much earlier than the event was scheduled to start (above).  The Passport Team was prepared and opened early.  “It really was an extraordinary day,” said Lehigh Acres Rural Carrier Jose Martinez, who was instrumental in the success of the passport fair.  Martinez appeared on Hispanic TV and radio stations, promoting the passport fair and the Postal Service.  “The message is out. The Postal Service is here for our customers and they are our priority.  We are doing more than our competitors can do,” added Martinez.

“It was a success.  The team focused on customer service,” said Lehigh Acres Postmaster Jacqueline Avery.  “We processed 56 passports and brought in over $1,600 in revenue from passports and photos.”

Awesome job done by all!
