Carrier Dawn Sylvester (left) was interviewed by WKMG Reporter Melodi Smith
(right) for a story on a “Day in the life of a Carrier.”
Sylvester began by explaining her morning job duties, such as checking her
vehicle and casing and pulling down her route.
Sylvester was filmed as she finished loading her vehicle with mail before driving to her
route.
Sylvester gave an
overall view of the responsibilities of a letter carrier and spoke about safety issues, sequence of tasks and what she enjoys most about her job. The story will
be posted on Clickorlando.com next week.
