School Visits Downtown

Orlando Downtown Post Office was visited by a local school.  The children canceled stamps on the letters they wrote and then dropped them into the mail slot.

Gore Letter Carrier Eulogio Soto (second, right) spoke with the kindergarten class about his job as a letter carrier. He, also, told them about safety around a mail truck and keeping their family pets in the house when the carrier arrives. After Soto answered questions from the youngsters about the Post Office, he continued on his route.  His next stop was the children’s school.

The children were all smiles and loved learning about the Post Office.
