The Right Stuff

Cape Canaveral Postmaster Jennifer Maturo (left), Postmaster Cocoa Beach Deborah Mostafavi (sitting) and Customer Relations Coordinator Deborah Vick (not pictured) had the right stuff putting together the special cancellation event in record time. Postmaster Maturo explained to customers the commemorative postmark honoring the 50^th Anniversary of the Apollo 1 mission. Visitors to the Kennedy Space Center were thrilled to be able to purchase letters with the special pictorial postmark.

    

Postmaster Mostafavi displays the postmark which includes the names of Astronauts White, Grissom and Chaffee and the Apollo 1 space capsule.
