Edgewater Rural Carrier
Denige Arch (above) collected and off-loaded food donations for the entire
day on Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Day, May 13.
Edgewater set up tents to
assist the off-loading of food at Lots of Love, where the all-volunteer group
received and sorted Food Drive donations.
“The tents came in handy when heavy rains came through during the
afternoon,” said Postmaster Roberta Stevens-Simmons.
“Despite the rainy weather, May
13 was a very successful day in Edgewater.
Customers and employees donated lots of food to help feed families in
our community,” said Postmaster Roberta Stevens-Simmons.
