Tampa Letter Carrier Mark Lash (above) is shown
delivering a package to a delighted customer on Christmas Day. Lash
delivered holiday packages to a dozen customers on Christmas Day as TV media
followed along. The uplifting news segment aired on Tampa Spectrum Bay
News 9 on Christmas night and the following day.
Lash said the customers were pleasantly surprised to
receive deliveries on Christmas and seeing their reactions was very rewarding.
"Seeing people's faces and the joy of seeing another gift coming in was
really neat," said Lash.
