Santas Helpers Extra Busy

Letters to Santa have been arriving in droves to the Tampa Main Post Office and making this time of year quite busy for all of Santa’s “Postal” Elves.

Channel 10 (WTSP) Photo Journalist Bert Moreno (left) spent time with the Postal elves as they answered some of the letters in Santa’s workshop. Pictured left to right: Supervisor, Customer Retention Elisa Torres, Tampa Postmaster Administrative Assistant Laura Procyk, and District Support Staff Employee, Jennifer Fredericks. “This is a busy time of year for Santa and we are here to help him answer all of the letters he has been receiving.” stated Torres.

Tampa Post Office Contract Technician, Michele Espinoza couldn't believe how long this childs letter was.  “This is the longest Santa letter that I have ever seen in the 13 years that I have been answering them.  There must be at least ten pieces of paper taped together here.” stated Espinoza.
