Darius Celebrates 40

Ybor City Processing & Distribution Center (P&DC) General Expeditor Darius Mack (left) received his 40-year Service Award from District Manager Eric Chavez (right). Mack began his postal career as a Letter Sorter Machine (LSM) Operator at the Church Street Post Office in lower Manhattan.  In 1983, the Church Street Post Office moved all employees to the Midtown Main Post Office which later became the Morgan P&DC.  In 2005 Mack transferred to the Tampa P&DC and in 2016 transferred to his current position at the Ybor City P&DC.

Joining Mack (second right) and Chavez (right) for the plaque presentation during the celebratory event with coworkers were Mack’s wife, Adriane (center) along with (left to right) his son Darius, Jr. and daughter, Juanita.

Congratulations and thank you for your many years of dedicated service, Darius!
