Honoring Women’s History Month

Women’s History Month honors the accomplishments and contributions of courageous, strong and brilliant women throughout history. During the celebratory month, Tampa Postmaster Richard Fermo (second left) and Manager, Customer Service Operations (MSCO) Timothy Dose (right) held a stamp dedication event and presented the Lena Horne Forever Stamp to, left to right, National President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Dr. Paulette C. Walker and Gamma Theta Omega Chapter Stamp Dedication Committee Chair Tee Soloman.  Horne had a life and legacy as a renowned entertainer who used her platform to become a prolific voice for civil rights advancement and gender equality.
