received her Perfect Attendance Award for FY17. In fact, Ms. Rodriguez
has had perfect attendance since the start of her career. “Not only is it

it is also a form of savings. The leave you earn is in hours, when you
have to utilize those hours – you are paid at your current salary. So the
hours you are earning now at the beginning of your career, have an opportunity
to double in value at the end of your career. Your accumulated sick leave
is also valuable to your retirement. Unused sick leave is now added to
your years of service. Nicole is an asset to the Postal Service and a
