Smyrna Beach Letter Carrier Robert Smith (center) received his Retirement

and National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) Branch 3129 President Jim
Zurn (right). Smith culminated 40 plus years of government service; 20 years as
a U. S. Marine and over 20 as a letter carrier.
Employees (above) gathered around to wish Smith the best in his retirement. “Robert was an outstanding letter carrier and his customers, often, made me aware. He wore many hats; he trained new employees and was a previous President of the local NALC chapter. Robert will be sadly missed, but his future is bright since he planned his retirement well,” stated Postmaster Calidonio.
Smith (above) enjoyed refreshments on his last day of work.
