Santa’s Helpers Respond To Letters

Tampa Main Post Office (MPO) hosted a media event to spotlight Letters to Santa.  Hundreds of adorable Letters to Santa arrive at the Tampa MPO each year.  All letters with a return address receive a response from Santa’s Helpers who also work as postal employees (above).  Local media outlets aired coverage about the holiday event that brings big smiles to the faces of children who receive a response from Santa.

Customer Retention Team (CRT) Supervisor Elisa Torres (above) reads one of the Letters to Santa.  “I receive a lot of joy reading and answering the letters every year.  I have been responding to them for over four years.  It is always so rewarding,” stated Torres.

Acting Human Resources Administrative Assistant Jeannie Carmenate (above) visited the area transformed in to Santa’s Workshop to respond to a child’s Santa Letter.

Santa’s Helpers (above) read hundreds of letters and prepare personal responses from Saint Nick.  The responses thank the children for writing to Santa and remind them to listen to their parents.

A variety of letters and cards (above) received from children decorate one of the display boards in Santa’s workshop at the Post Office.

Thank you to all employees who took the time to serve as Santa’s Helpers.
