Associate John Pages (above) was all smiles after submitting a revenue lead
that resulted in $56,160 in new revenue for the Postal Service. “I was assisting a customer who was mailing
about 20 large Priority Mail envelopes.
I asked if this was their regular volume,” said Pages. “The customer said it was a new business and
they were hopeful volume would increase.
I explained the ways the Postal Service could help with the company’s
mailings and that a member of our Sales team could provide details. The customer was very interested and completed
a lead card.”
Pages submitted the
lead through the Clerks Care program and Business Development Specialist Gerald
Ramos followed up with the customer and completed the sale. Lutz Postmaster
James Chiarella is proud of
Pages’ great lead and encourages employees to participate in the Employee
Engagement Programs to bring in new revenue.
