In Charge Grand Island Manny Lopez (center) received a Certificate of
Appreciation from United States Postal Inspector Service (USPIS) Contractor,
Retired Inspector Jack Cowen (left) and Postal Inspector Ed Sanabria (right).
Over the past year, Lopez recovered and identified scam mailings targeting potential
elderly victims. Many of the mailings were returned to the customers, so they
did not lose their money, which in many cases amounted to thousands of dollars.
