Tampa Falkenburg Lead Retail Associate Miriam Romero (above)
was assisting a customer who was mailing more than 30 packages when she engaged
the customer in conversation. She
learned the packages were for a new business that was growing and the customer
was looking for ways to save money on shipping.
Romero suggested that the Postal Service may have options to help and asked
if she could have a USPS sales rep follow up.
The customer was happy to hear from Business Development Specialist
Jerry Ramos (not pictured), who set up a USPS shipping account that saved the
customer money and brought in an estimated new annual revenue of $94,000 for
the Postal Service.
