On August 1, 2019, Suncoast Acting District
Manager Steve Hardin (front row, third right) and the Suncoast Leadership Team
(above) were recognized in the national USPS Lead To Win publication for their
outstanding performance on EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) Formals Per 100
Employees vs. Same Period Last Year (SPLY).
The District achieved a score of 0.61 Year To Date (YTD).
The team shared three keys to their success on
this indicator:
• District leadership team sets the example of
treating employees with respect.
• Continual communication with leadership regarding
the potential quantified financial impact of EEOs
escalating past the informal
level.
• Dispute Resolution Team actively identifies specific opportunities for resolution through
consistent communication between District leadership and Alternative Dispute Resolutions (ADRs).
