North Fort Myers Letter Carrier Bobbie Townsand (right) was
presented the National Safety Council’s Million Mile Safe Driver Award from Fort
Myers Postmaster Nefty Pluguez (left). Bobbie received the prestigious award
for driving over 1,000,000 miles without an at fault accident. “This
achievement is something to be proud of. It means that Bobbie has gone over
thirty years without an accident” commented Pluguez.
After the award ceremony in front of her co-workers, Bobbie shared
in her success with a cake (above).
