Congratulations
to Sherry Jude, Manager of Post Office Operations for Area D, who was recently named
2019 District Engagement Leader of the Year.
The elite club honors
leaders who are involved, enthusiastic and committed to improving their
workplace environments.
“Sherry is a true
leader when it comes to Safety, whether it’s taking the lead in massive back-up
reductions for Lehigh Acres, conducting Safety Kaizens in her offices or continuing
to push for on-time Injury and Illness claims,” said Suncoast District Manager
Stephen Hardin. “She also had perfect RCE scores in Quarter 3.”

Area C, concurred, “Sherry really cares about her people, and I think that is
demonstrated in her results. She is well deserving of this award.”
Finalists for the ELOY Award are nominated from
the field, USPS headquarters in Washington DC and the Postal Inspection Service.
The Postal Service introduced the awards competition in 2016.
