Tampa Sulphur Springs Station Letter
Carrier David Jackson (above) was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation in
front of his co-workers by Postmaster Richard Fermo and National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC)
Local #599 Union President Tony Diaz (not pictured). Jackson
was recognized after one of his customers contacted the Post Office to
compliment him on his kind actions. David
went out of his way
on a day where he did not have mail delivery to a community and advised them of
a curbside water leak, which resulted in the City of Tampa immediately
dispatching a repair crew to take care of the issue.
