Tampa,
FL, Customer Relations Coordinator Tracie Finley is the proud owner of Azsa
(pronounced Asia) a 125-pound eight-year-old Great Pyrenees. The breed derives
from the Pyrenees Mountains located between France and Spain and the breed is
known as a guardian of lamb, sheep, alpaca, and other live stock. Azsa
loves to visit with people and to receive pats on her head from children in her
neighborhood, who refer to her as the baby polar bear. Azsa stays behind closed
doors during mail delivery hours and she perks up when she hears the daily
sounds of the mail truck arriving. She loves cooler weather and is a huge
fan of air conditioning during the warmer months in Florida.
Any dog can bite and all attacks are preventable through responsible pet ownership and knowing how to react when confronted by a dog. Dog attacks are a nationwide issue and not just a postal problem.
