Orlando Pine
Castle Acting Manager, Customer Services Peter Piteira (right) is also known as
Lieutenant Colonel Peter Piteira. He
received the Meritorious Service Medal, Oak Leaf Cluster for 40 years of
distinguished service to the Air Force and the Rhode Island Air National Guard
from Colonel Wiggins (left), Commander of the 143 Air Wing located in Rhode
Island. During his service, Piteira was
deployed nine times in support of Hurricane Katrina, Operation Enduring
Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He
has served as the 143 AW Wing’s Executive Officer for the past three years and also
served as the 143rd’s Director of the Inspector Office.
