Orlando Pine Castle Acting Manager, Customer Services Peter Piteira (right) and Florida 2 District Business Development Specialist Stacey Watkins (left) hosted a Grow Your Business Day on May 26, 2021. The duo was able to generate some leads and potential sales from the event. “There’s a lot of competition in today’s shipping industry, but what sets the Postal Service apart is a secret weapon – 600,000 employees,” said Piteira. “If every employee came up with one lead once a month – and if only one percent of those leads turned into a sale – that would come out to 6,000 new sales a month for USPS.” Piteira backs up this statement with 100 percent participation from his clerks in the Clerks Care program.
