Larry Retires

Downtown Station Lead Retail Associate Larry Anderson called it quits after 40 years and 15 days. He was recognized by acting Station Manager Lisa Garlow (right) and Supervisor, Customer Services Egide Piard (left) in front of his peers.

The Minnesota native began his postal career as an LSM operator after serving in the Navy. What will he miss about the USPS? "The people. Sometimes I enjoy the day-to-day interaction. It depends," he laughed. Despite being 6'3", Anderson said he's "one of the most mellow people there is. He plans to enjoy his retirement without shoes.

Enjoy your retirement without those shoes, Larry!
