St. Petersburg, FL, Midtown Station held a Dog Bite
Awareness event to help ensure employees are prepared for the unexpected.
The training involved letter carriers using targets
and dog spray to perfect their aim, thereby lessening the chance of being bitten.

R) Adam Obando, Victor Harris, Janice
Pantoja, Dayron Alvarez Gonzales, and Gerardo Hernandez Cruz. Manager, Customer
Service Operations (MCSO) Darrell Moore (second right) and National Association of Letter
Carriers Branch #1477 President Joe Henschen (far right) were on hand to
observe the training.
