In Fort Myers all the stockings were hung with care as news stations toured the Fort Myers Processing and Distribution Center (P&DC). The news stations were given a back stage pass to see how Fort Myers is preparing for peak.

Manager, Pam Hayes (above) was on site and met with each news station
individually to give them an interview. Sharing her knowledge of the Post
Master General’s ten year plan with the news stations.
Fort Myers Postmaster,
James Chambers (right) was also on site and spoke with the news stations about
the customer service and delivery standards he has put into place to ensure a
smooth peak season. Informing the Fort Myers community that drivers will be
delivering packages as early as 6 in the morning to accomplish the Post Master
General’s plan for success.
