Letter carriers at Orlando’s Alafaya Carrier Annex were out
in force during November-December to make sure customer’s packages were
delivered in time for Christmas.
With package deliveries starting as early as 6:00 a.m. at
many offices and continuing after nightfall, employees were determined to make
this the most successful peak season ever for USPS.
“I have some of the best employees in the Postal Service.
They are committed, energetic and do an amazing job,” said Manager, Customer
Services Jacqui Bragg. “During this magical time of year, we make sure
they know how much they are appreciated.”
The Postal Service was projecting between 850 and 950
million packages would be delivered this holiday season.
