Orange County's Best Kept Secret

Postal customers are picky about their stamps. Gotha, FL, Retail Associate Philip Mack holds up his office’s top sellers: 2022 Love Stamp, 2022 U.S. Flags and the 2021 Espresso Drinks, which is no longer available online.

Named after a town in Germany, the Gotha, FL, Post Office opened in 1883 and continues to serve a community of just over 2,000 residents. It’s part of the Orlando-Kissimmee Metro area and is best known as the final resting place of famous painter Bob Ross.

If you ever get a chance, stop by and see the little office and visit the friendly staff. You’ll be glad you did.

Since 1883, the United States Postal Service has served the town of Gotha, FL, which is 1.931 square miles.

Gotha Rural Carrier Associate Ginger Huber started working for the Postal Service in February 2022. “When I lived in San Diego, I’d see my letter carrier and always thought they had the coolest job,” she said. “There seems to be a lot of opportunity here, and I love challenges.” Huber’s grandfather worked on a railway post office (RPO) in Atlanta.
