The same year Jimmy Carter became the 39th President of the United States, Megan Owen (right) started working for the U.S. Postal Service.
The Venice Letter Carrier was recently recognized by Manager of Post Office Operations (Area J) Phillip Fleener for 45 years of service. He presented her with a Service Award and Pin from District Manager Steve Hardin (not pictured).
"Thank you for many wonderful years of service," said Fleener. "Loyal and dedicated employees like you are the foundation to any successful company."
Several
of Megan’s former Managers joined the celebration. From left, Fleener, Punta Gorda
Postmaster Melissa Kruzel, Owen and Englewood Postmaster
Laura Bernhard.
