Safety in Numbers

 

Tampa Postmaster Jackie Villemaire (front row, fifth from right), recently held a Safety Captain's Team Meeting to plan, strategize and implement ideas that will lead to a successful year in safety.

The Safety Captains were provided lanyards, pins and other goodies to distribute to employees who perform a safe act. Tampa offices will also receive an oversized safety banner for employees to sign and hang at their office.

"Workplace safety is important to every employee in the organization," said Villemaire. "Talking about safety should involve open conversations for listening to concerns from employees as well as any suggestions they have about making improvements."
