Venice Leading The Way

Venice Main Office A/Supervisor, Customer Services Mike Thoreen (right) was recognized by Postmaster Kevin Sullivan (left) for a lead he submitted that resulted in new revenue. Business Development Specialist Lorri Kayser (not pictured) was on hand at Venice Main and Venice Annex to speak with employees about ways to find business leads

Venice Annex Letter Carrier (above) volunteered to be the office’s Employee Engagement Carrier Coordinator to help educate employees and increase participation in the program.

Venice Carrier Annex Supervisor, Customer Services Anne Marie Richardson (above) holds samples of the Lead Packets she created to be placed in every Long Life Vehicle (LLV).  The packets are readily available so that employees have information to share when they have an opportunity to speak with customers about shipping or mailing with the Postal Service.

“Postmaster Sullivan knows that our employees are our biggest asset for growing our business,” said Kayser.  “I appreciate his invitation to share information about the Employee Engagement Program.  The visits at the two offices brought in a total of 18 new revenue leads.”

Way to go, Team Venice!
