Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Day May 14th



Fort Myers Postmaster Leroy Middleton, Jr. (left), Customer Relations Coordinator Philip Wiebold (second, left), Harry Chappin Food Bank Associate Director Joyce Jacobs (second, right) and Letter Carrier / Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Coordinator George Sciascia (right) accepted a Proclamation from Lee County Board of County Commissioners proclaiming Saturday, May 14th as Stamp Out Hunger National Food Drive Day.


Fort Myers Letter Carrier / Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Coordinator George Sciascia (above) explain the significance of The Letter Carrier’s 24th annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive to The Lee County Board of County Commissioners. “Lee County had one of the most successful food drives in the nation last year collecting over 400,000 pounds of food,” said Sciascia “We’re looking for another successful drive again this year.”
