Clarcona
Retail Associate Gloria Fernandez (third, left) and Postmaster Glenda Kirkman (fourth,
left) provided exceptional service when two teachers from a local academy
(front and left) arrived at the Post Office 30 minutes before closing with 61
Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes. Donations
for the troops from the school’s two week project were inside the packages.
Fernandez
(above) and Kirkman jumped in to action and did not miss a beat as the teachers
started placing a steady stream of packages and customs forms on the counter. “It was a team effort getting the packagers
off to the troops while still waiting on other customers,” said Kirkman. “We were still processing packages after
closing, but were able to get all 61 weighed, processed and dispatched on time.”
Awesome
job, Gloria and Glenda!
