Largo Food Drive



City Carrier Assistant (CCA) /NALC Branch #1477 Steward Melissa Evener (above) unloaded donations she collected during the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on May 13.  Led by the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), employees collected donations during the one-day annual event for local food pantries. Evener is featured in USPS Link’s 2017 national Food Drive article posted on May 16.

Cities around the nation are reporting huge food collections from this year’s Food Drive.  The Largo LLV above is representative of the donations in the Suncoast District.  The national total is being tallied and Suncoast employees are hopeful the district will be #1 in the nation for the 9th year in a row.
