Edgewater
Letter Carrier Steve Martin (above) was honored by his fellow postal family and
was presented a Veterans Pin received from Postmaster General Megan Brennan. A picture of Martin, when he was stationed in
Germany at 22, is in the upper right corner of the display cabinet.
Martin
will be retiring this coming year and has proudly served his country and the
USPS. “We are honored here in Edgewater to have him as a Letter Carrier for 34
years”, stated Postmaster Roberta Stevens-Simmons. Other veterans honored but
not pictured were Supervisor, Customer Services Cameron Wood and Retail
Associate Robert Brown III.
Refreshments
were served to all employees at the recognition.
Thank
you for your service, Steve, Cameron and Robert!
