The Million Mile Safe Driver Award is presented to professional drivers who have accumulated 1,000,000 miles or 30 years of driving without being involved in a preventable motor vehicle accident. Pictured above are the 2018 St. Petersburg Million Mile Award recipients and the presenters of the award.

Madeira Beach Letter Carrier Bob Brown (right) is all smiles during a media interview by TV channel Fox 13 News.  Brown, who has been a Letter Carrier since 1985, shared his philosophy when he was asked by the reporter, “how have you driven this many miles without an accident?” Brown stated, “Paying attention to what you are doing, caring about what you do, and being proud of what you do.  That has a lot to do with it.”

Congratulations, Thank you to all the award winners.
