Each year, the Postal Service designates the third full week
of May as “Mailbox Improvement Week” to encourage customers to examine and,
where necessary, improve the appearance of their mailboxes.
Over the next week the Suncoast Scoop with share a picture each day of a mailbox and one of the seven requirements that are needed for an approved mailbox.
