Food Drive Kickoff

The U.S. Postal Service, National Association of Letter Carriers and Metropolitan Ministries in Tampa held a kickoff on May 4th for Stamp Out Hunger -- the nation’s largest one-day food drive. The is the first year since the pandemic that USPS letter carriers will be out in force collecting food donations left by customers at mailboxes. All goods collected in the 11 Hillsborough communities will benefit at-risk and homeless families through hunger relief programs provided by Metro Ministries.
